That’s a Gaelic word – Sidhe – refers to the mounds in which Fae folk are thought to live. ( Pronounced “She”, thus the lovely word play there.) Of course, in the old Celtic traditions Fairies are not cute diminutive young women with wings, they are in fact fearful beings which entice travelers, steal babies, kill livestock, and can be rather dangerous if not dealt with kindly.
